The closing track to this epic sophomore album by Lost Tribes Of The Moon. A tale inspired by the demoness Enepsigos, a fallen angel who took on 3 different forms representing the 3 cycles of the moon. This song is split into 3 sections of a story to represent those same cycles/forms. This composition runs through the vast spectrum of sounds you hear throughout the album, with it's common heavy metal riffs and dynamic transitions, to synthy acoustic interludes, to long extended doom jams for the listener who doesn't want the tale to end quite just yet........

from behind the satin sky
lights reach like fingertips
to touch the farthest star
this face watches the east
where the people stare
like beggars
hungry for the light

sliver of light

three shapes

II. waning moon

watch me disappear
behind the the velvet cloak
slowly curl away the light
tight and tighter winds
the curling of the sliver
lost like dust into the night
this face watches the west
where the people pray
may the house remain

then I told the king
we will be watching him
behind the sun I wait

I lurk like tourmaline
in the black box of sky
hiding behind the earth
to shun the piercing bright
I am new and ancient
waiting in my chains of three
all I have told
it will unfold

I watch the people
as they foul the globe
my prophesy has now been wove
the cloth is cut, sewn, and folded
they wear not
the shame of rot
they're getting bolder

of earth below my feet
from my perch above in
